Handbuch für ErsatzstimmePro von Jürgen Grund
Allgemeines
ErsatzstimmePro ist eine Android-App, die vorgegebene Texte zu verschiedenen Themengebieten in den Sprachen
Deutsch, Englisch oder Französisch auf Knopfdruck spricht und anzeigt. Es können aber auch eigene Texte
eingegeben werden, die dann durch Drücken des Buttons 'sprechen' gesprochen werden. Ebenso können bis zu 100 eigene
Texte dauerhaft (persistent) gespeichert werden, um dann bei Bedarf gesprochen zu werden. ErsatzstimmePro ist jedoch
kein Übersetzungsprogramm! Die App ist vielmehr für Stumme, Taubstumme und Menschen geeignet, die durch Krankheit
und/oder OP nicht (mehr) sprechen können. Die folgenden Kapitel sind ihrer Bedienung gewidmet.
Bedienung der App
Das Programm kann nur im Hochkant-Format (Portrait-Modus) bedient werden, da ein Drehen des Smartphones auch
immer zu einem Restart der App führt, was inmitten der Sprachausgabe unerwünscht ist. Um Fehlbedienungen zu
vermeiden, wurde die zu sprechende Sprache auf die Landessprache (Locale) voreingestellt. Die Oberfläche
(Button-Beschriftung) erscheint ebenfalls in der Landessprache. Bitte nicht vergessen, die Lautstärke am
Smartphone auf Maximum zu stellen! Meist erscheint nach dem Öffnen der App die
Software-Tastatur zur Texteingabe. Ist dies nicht erwünscht, genügt ein Antippen der Zurück-Taste des Smartphones
(gebogener Pfeil nach links). Antippen des Buttons 'Aktualisieren' schreibt die voreingestellte Sprache in das
oberste Textfeld. Außerdem werden damit die selbst abgespeicherten Texte in den untersten 5 Textfeldern angezeigt.
Diese können durch Scrollen nach unten erreicht werden. Unterhalb der Länder-Icons befinden sich Buttons mit häufig
gebrauchten Sätzen/Wörtern, die durch Antippen gesprochen werden.
Unterhalb dieser Buttons befinden sich anklickbare Icons für bestimmte Lebenssituationen.
Man gerät dann zu der entsprechenden Seite. Der Aufbau ist dort identisch organisiert.
Unterhalb dieser Icons befinden sich die Bedienfelder für 5 frei beschreibbare Speicherplätze, die dauerhaft
(persistent) gespeichert werden können. Ihre Bedienung geschieht wie folgt:
Durch Antippen des Icons mit der Notizblock-Abbildung kann auf 20 frei beschreibbare Speicherplätze zugegriffen
werden. Das Speichern erfolgt für den Nutzer weitgehend transparent im Dateisystem von Android. Daher ist jeder
Speicher bei einer Erstinstallation auf einem bestimmten Gerät zunächst unbelegt (leer).
Notwendige Einstellungen am Smartphone
Eine Voraussetzung für die gewünschte Oberflächensprache der App ist die Einstellung der Landessprache im
Smartphone selbst durch den Nutzer. Das geschieht wie folgt:
Einstellungen->Sprache und Tastatur->Sprache wählen->Deutsch (Deutschland).
App Einstellungen->Menü->Mein Gerät->Sprache und Eingabe->Sprache->Deutsch(Deutschland).
Die Sprache des zu sprechenden Textes muss in folgendem Fall von Hand manipuliert/eingestellt
werden:
Einstellungen->Spracheingabe/-ausgabe->Text in Sprache-Einstellungen->Meine Einst. verwenden->deaktivieren
da ansonsten die Standardeinstellungen die Anwendungseinstellungen überschreiben. Das kann dazu führen,
dass die gesprochene Sprache nicht der Oberfläche entspricht und dementsprechend nicht auswählbar ist.
Ansonsten wird die richtige Sprache voreingestellt bzw. kann durch Antippen des entsprechenden Sprach-Icons
geändert werden, um eigene Texte in einer anderen Sprache (als der Oberfläche) zu sprechen und zu speichern. Nicht alle Einstellungen
sind auf jedem Smartphone zu finden. Diese hier im Handbuch stammen vom Smartphone Defy+ von Motorola, vom Tablet Allwinner und vom Samsung Galaxy SIII mini.
Installation weiterer Stimmen im Android-System
Ist das Smartphone anfänglich stumm, müssen die notwendigen Stimmen erst installiert werden. Die Sprachfunktion
wird im Smartphone selbst durch das Modul 'Text-to-Speech' realisiert, das man sich gratis vom Google Play Store
holen kann/muss.
Stimmen sind beispielsweise Pico (Frauenstimme Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch), Google (Frauenstimme Deutsch,
Englisch und Französisch), Marlene von IVONA (Frauenstimme Deutsch), Petra von SVOX (Frauenstimme Deutsch), Markus
von SVOX (Männerstimme Deutsch), Oliver von SVOX (Männerstimme GB-Englisch), Michael von SVOX (Männerstimme US-Englisch),
Benny von SVOX (Kinderstimme US-Englisch) und Luc von SVOX (Männerstimme Französisch).
Während die Stimmen von Pico und Google als Frauenstimme in Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch kostenlos sind,
sind Männerstimmen und andere Frauenstimmen oft kostenpflichtig. Typische Preise liegen hier bei 2,99 €.
Nach der Installation sind die Stimmen im Smartphone grundsätzlich folgendermaßen auswählbar:

Aber Achtung: Wählt man beispielsweise Marlene von IVONA (Deutsch) aus und sind keine weiteren Stimmen auf dem Smartphone installiert,
so kann diese noch lange keinen Englischen oder Französischen Text sprechen. Eventuell bleibt das Smartphone dann stumm, insbesondere
bei Aktivierung von 'meine Einst. verwenden'! Es ist ebenso möglich, dass die Stimme in diesem Fall unverständlich ist.
Wie bezahlt man beim Google Play Store (früher Google Market)?
Es gibt sowohl kostenlose als auch kostenpflichtige Stimmen beim Google Play Store. Die Bezahlung der kostenpflichtigen
Stimmen kann durch folgende Verfahren erfolgen:

ReplacementVoicePro is an Android app that talks and displays predefined texts on various topics
in the languages German, English or French just by tapping on a button. It is also possible to
enter free text, which is then spoken by tapping on the button 'speak'. You can even store up
to 100 of your own texts permanently (persistently) in order to speak them when needed. However,
it is not a translation program! ReplacementVoicePro is therefore suitable for mute, deaf-mute
and people who cannot speak (anymore) due to illness and/or surgery. The following chapters
are dedicated to its operation.
Operation of the app
The program can be run in portrait format (portrait mode) only. This is due to he fact that spinning
of the smartphone would lead to a restart of the app, which disturbs a running speech. To avoid
incorrect operation, the language to be spoken is set automatically to the default language (Locale) of
the chosen region. The surface (button labels) also appears in the local language. Usually the software
keyboard appears at the opening of the app for text input. If this is not desired, a tap on the back
button of your smartphone (curved arrow pointing to the left) is sufficient. Tapping the button 'update'
writes the default language in the top text box. It will also display your permanent texts stored in
the last 5 text boxes on the screen. These can be accessed by scrolling down. Underneath the country
icons there are some buttons with frequently used phrases/words that are spoken by tapping the
corresponding button. Please do not forget to set the volume on your smartphone to maximum! Underneath the
frequently asked phrase-buttons you can find clickable icons for certain situations in life that
need only be tapped. You are then switched to the corresponding side. The screen structure is
organized there identical. Underneath the icons there are the control panels for five custom memory
locations, which are stored persistently. Their operation is as follows:
Tapping on the icon showing the notepad image enables access to 20 free writeable memory locations.
Saving is quite transparent to the user in the file system of Android. Therefore, each memory is empty
whenever the app is installed for the first time on a smartphone.
Preparing the smartphone through special settings
A prerequisite for the desired interface language of the app is setting the local language in the
smartphone itself by the user. This takes place as follows:
Settings->Language & keyboard->Select locale->English (United States).
The language of the text to be spoken must be adjusted in the following case:
Settings->Voice input & output->Text-to-Speech-settings->Always use my settings->disable
otherwise the default settings override the application settings. This will lead to a state where the
spoken language is not identical to the surface/local language and cannot be changed manually.
Otherwise, the correct language is preset and can be changed manually by touching the corresponding
language icon to speak and store texts in other languages than the default language/button texts.
However, not all settings are available on any smartphone. Here in this manual they come from Motorola's
Defy+ smartphone and the Allwinner tablet.
Installation of (additional) voices in the Android system
In case the smartphone remains silent, the necessary voices need to be installed. The ability to speak
is realized in the smartphone itself through the module 'Text to Speech', which you can get for free from
Google Play Store.
Voices are such as Pico (female voice German, English and French), Google (female voice German, English
and French), Marlene by IVONA (female voice German), Petra by SVOX (female voice German), Markus
by SVOX (male voice German), Oliver by SVOX (male voice British), Michael by SVOX (male voice American),
Benny by SVOX (child's voice American) and Luc by SVOX (male voice French). While the voices of Pico and Google as
a woman's voice in German, English and French are free, male voices and other female voices are often charged.
A typical price is € 2.99.
After installing the voices on your smartphone, they can be selected/activated via the smartphone settings:

But beware: If you select e.g. Marlene by IVONA (German) and no other voices are installed on the device, the
smartphone still cannot speak English or French texts. Chances are that the smartphone then remains silent, especially
when 'Always use my settings' is activated! It may also happen that the voice cannot be understood in this case.
Payment of voices from Google Play Store (former Google Market)
There are both free and fee voices at Google Play Store. The payment of the fee voices can be done by the
following methods:

VoixDeRemplacementPro est une application Android qui parle et affiche des textes prédéfinis de divers sujets dans
les langues allemand, anglais ou français en appuyant sur un bouton.
Mais on peut aussi saisir manuellement des textes, qui sont ensuite prononcés quand on appuye sur le bouton 'parler'.
De même, jusqu'à 100 de vos propres textes durables (persistantes) peuvent être enregistré, pour être parlé s'il
soit nécessaire. Cependant, il ne s'agit pas d'un programme de traduction! VoixDeRemplacementPro est plutôt
adapté pour les gens muets, sourdes-muettes et les autres qui ne peuvent (plus) parler pour cause de maladie
et/ou chirurgie. Les chapitres suivants sont dédié à sa fonctionnement.
Le fonctionnement de l'application
Le programme peut être utilisé seulement en format portrait (mode portrait), car une rotation du smartphone
conduit à un redémarrage de l'application, ce qui n'est pas voulu pendant le discours. Pour éviter un
mauvais fonctionnement, la langue à parler a été mis à la langue de la région. La surface (les étiquettes des boutons)
apparaît également dans la langue de la région. Habituellement, le clavier logiciel apparaît après l'ouverture de
l'application pour la saisie du texte. Si cela n'est pas souhaité, une pression sur le bouton de retour
de votre smartphone (flèche courbe vers la gauche) est suffisante. En tapant sur le bouton de 'mise à jour'
sera écrit la langue adaptée dans la zone de texte en haut.
En outre, les textes eux-mêmes stockés dans les plus basses 5 zones de texte sont affichés. Ceux-ci sont visibles
en faisant défiler. En dessous les icônes des pays des boutons avec des phrases/mots fréquemment utilisés seront
parlées en appuyant sur le bouton.
S'il vous plaît ne pas oublier de mettre le volume du smartphone au maximum!
En dessous de ces boutons sont des icônes cliquables pour certaines situations de la vie quotidienne. On est
mené alors à la page correspondante. Ici la structure est organisée identique.
En dessous les icônes sont des tableaux de commande pour 5 mémoires enregistrables qui peuvent être stockées de
façon permanente.
Son fonctionnement est le suivant:
En appuyant sur l'icône de bloc-notes on est mèné à une page où l'on peut stocker 20 propres textes.
Le processus de stockage est essentiellement transparente pour l'utilisateur dans le système d'applications
de fichiers. Par conséquent, chaque mémoire est d'abord vide après la première installation de l'app sur un smartphone.
Les réglages nécessaires sur le smartphone
Une condition préalable à la langue souhaitée à la surface de l'application est le réglage de la langue
de la région dans le smartphone lui-même par l'utilisateur. Cela se produit comme suit:
Paramètres->Langue et clavier->Langue et règion->Français
La langue du texte à parler doit être manipulé/ajusté de main dans le cas suivant:
Paramètres->Saisie et sortie vocales->Synthèse vocale->Tjs utiliser mes param.->désactiver
sinon les paramètres par défaut remplacent les paramètres de l'application. Cela peut conduire à une langue
qui ne correspond pas à la surface et n'est donc pas disponible. Sinon, la langue correcte est réglé ou changeable
en appuyant sur les icônes de langue dans une langue différente de la surface pour parler et stocker des propres textes.
Pas tous les paramètres ne sont pas disponibles sur tous les smartphones. Dans ce manuel ils viennent du smartphone
Defy+ de Motorola et de la tablette Allwinner.
Installation d\une (nouvelle) voix dans le système Android
Si le smartphone d'abord est silencieux, les voix nécessaires doivent être installés. La fonction du langage
est réalisé dans le smartphone par le module 'Text to Speech', que vous pouvez obtenir gratuitement de Google
Play Store.
Les voix sont, par exemple, Pico (voix féminine allemand, anglais et français), Google (voix féminine allemand,
anglais et français), Marlene de IVONA (voix féminine allemand), Petra de SVOX (voix féminine allemand), Markus
